NOW TO THE TIPS :

Guide to being an elite player (from an elite player)

I am an elite player in server 7. I’m in one of the top alliances, am ranked very high, and have several medals. If you'd like to be a sim (and only lower to average rank) player, then follow the other suggestions. If you'd like to be an elite player, or at least very good, then listen up. Start out as a Teuton, level up one of each of your res (resource) fields first off, then build up your rally point, main building to level 3, and your barracks. Now you're ready to start training troops. Train as many troops as you possibly can. start out with 5 troop raids, and don't EVER send less than 5 troops to any village(unless you're doing fakes, but that's MUCH later on when you're waging war against large alliances[I hope our current war goes well]). Start sending troops out to smaller (100 or lower pop (population)) villages. This will start bringing you in res. keep training. Train as much as you can. Once you have enough res, train more troops. the more farms(villages you're raiding) you have, the more res you're going to be bringing in. keep raiding until you have at least 100 troops. NEVER allow your troops to sit in your village. If they're in your village, they're not doing you any good whatsoever. If you're going to be gone for 8 hrs, send your troops out on a 4 hr. raid (4 hrs there, 4 hrs back). This keeps your troops from being killed off by another person’s raid. If you go negative wheat right now, this is ok, as you're bringing in enough res to cover your troops food needs. Once you're bringing in a good amount of res form raids, level up your warehouse, and granary to level 5. More if you need it, and start leveling up your cranny. I would suggest at least 2 level 10 cranny's so you don't give res away in raids from other people(if you see a raid incoming, train a bunch of troops, or level something up to empty your warehouse, and keep res from other raiders). At this point (100-150 macemen), start leveling up your res fields. once you're at level 5-7 only


Travian Strategy

When You have 200 pop you should evolve all field to level 6 (except for food, those should be more evolved), then start building a wall to level between 6 and 10 (more, better) then, a hiding place to level 10 (if you have one in level 10, don't do another) and train between 150 to 250 soldiers (the first ones in the barracks) and evolve their defense to level 5. Then you can start evolving more your productivity and then, more soldiers. PS: You can use those troops to attack other villages, but I recomend to attack the smallest and closest ones.



Travian Strategy 2

On the first few days of starting do the quests. Choose economy you get more rewards that way, then with the resources get a cranny level 10 and another cranny level 10 before you do anything else Then upgrade your resources to level 5 all of them except wheat level 3's only Then build another level 10cranny If it is a slow server upgrade your main building If it is a fast server make a residence NOT PALACE Get it to level 4-6 Then upgrade warehouse as much as you need to and granary max level 9 Get resources up to lvl 7of each apart from wheat only level 5s for that Build more crannies (it depends on how active you are to how many crannies you make) Get a residence level 10 Build 3 settlers Settle far away in a area full of new people Build a marketplace in your first village to level 5 In your second village build a high level warehouse and granary and then send all resources from your first village to your second village and build up resources Copy this strategy out for every village except for villages after 3rd when you are a little more experienced Do not follow this word for word Build troops aswell and raid people to get extra resources.



Defence the Travian Village

Build your cranny as much as possible, upgrade barack & horse producer and upgrade them as high as possible. Don't forget to build your fence untill level 20, then high resource then find alliances.



Crannies Are Useful

On Travian other players just keep attacking you and stealing resources from you. With crannies you can stop this. Build as many crannies as you can and upgrade them on level 10 . ( If you are Roman - crannies on level 10 will save 1000 resources . If you are Gaul - crannies on level 10 will save 2000 resources).

Secret Cranny

Here's how to get your secret cranny going. 1. Go to your market place. 2. Click on "Offer" 3. Then type in what you want to offer (this will count as offering) 4. Look at your resource bar and what you have offered. 5. Say you had 2000 lumber and you offered 1000 you will now have 1000 left and it will be unaccessible by enemy raids!! NOTE. Whenever you offer something it WILL be on offer so when you do make sure its a good deal on you!

How to Insert a White Dove

To insert a white dove into your description, simply go to your profile description and type: [#0]. This is Quest 13, and you get a reward of 120 lumber, 200 clay, 140 iron, 100 crop.




How to be a master in Travian (without taking the teutons)

Start with Romans. Day 0 - So you have just started. First upgrade your recource tiles your recource tiles like this the fitrst time the resources must be like this 10:12:8:6. You must upgrade most the clay pits thn the woodcutters then the iron mines and the croplands. (do not spent any recources at buldings). Day 8-10 - Now you must have all your recources tiles at level 3. Your income must be like this 60:60:60:40.Its time to take a break for recources. Build a rally point and a main building level 3. Build up to 25 legionairie. Also build up a cranny level 5-6 a granary level 1-2 and a warehouse level 2-3. Then continue the recource tiles upgrading. Week 3-5 - You must now have all recource tiles at level 6. Now take a break and build an academy level5 a blacksmith level 1 an armory level 1 and a stable level 1. Strart doing all the available researches and make 30 legionaire 30 praetorians 35 imperians and 10 equites legaths. Following Weeks - Continue the resource tiles upgrading and make them level 10.Then Found a second village and a third and continue like this.
